Delivery & professional installation: Major appliances

Prairie Hauler installs major appliances! We will pick up, deliver, assemble, install, test, clean and haul away your old appliances and garbage all for one low fee. We offer fair prices with friendly professional on time service! Whether you want curb side, room of choice or the full white glove delivery experience, our array of services will cater to your needs.

Services 

CURBSIDE – Appliance pick up and delivery. 50km’s included. Appliances will be delivered to the curb side/driveway or into accessible garage at customer request (no stairs). Will haul away old unit if it is at curb, in driveway or garage.

ROOM OF CHOICE – Appliance pick up and delivery. 50km’s included. Deliver to room of choice, unpack and place in front of opening, haul away and disposal of old unit and/or move to alternate location at property.

WHITE GLOVE (Refrigerators, Ranges, Washers and Dryers). Appliances pick up and delivery. 50km included. Professional hook up includes installation of water supply, drainage and vent connections, fridge water lines, wipe down,  garbage removal, level, test, haul away and disposal of old unit and/or move to alternate location at property.

WHITE GLOVE (Dishwashers, OTR’s, wall ovens, cook tops, built in microwaves and range hoods). Pickup and delivery. 50km’s included.  Professional hook up includes installation of water supply, drainage lines, vent connections, electrical connections, wipe down, garbage removal, level, test, haul away and disposal of old unit and/or move to alternate location at property.

The fine print: All existing appliances must be completely disconnected prior to our arrival. If appliances are not disconnected, installation and/or haul away service will not be provided. Flat rates subject to additional charges based on complexity, criteria, or site conditions that deviate from information provided. Quotes are always provided up front with zero hidden fees. Prairie hauler will only install appliances with new venting, clamps and supply lines. Customer is responsible for providing the required hardware for each install. If unavailable, Prairie Hauler will supply for an additional fee. Prairie Hauler reserves the right to refuse installation if issues related to safety, accessibility, quality or completeness of parts exists or if there are code violations. Customer must ensure pick up location is aware that we are picking up your item(s) for you. If wait times exceeding 30 minutes occur at pick up, a wait or wasted trip charge may apply. Prairie Hauler is not liable for manufacturer defects or previous damage to items. For room of choice and white glove delivery, Prairie Hauler will only carry items up or down 1 flight of stairs 15 or less steps. A charge of per step will apply over 15 steps. Over 25 steps and Prairie Hauler reserves the right to refuse the job. A clear path to room of choice must be in place prior to our arrival, Prairie Hauler will not be responsible for moving objects, snow or any other obstruction out of the way to make room for delivered items. We may ask you to move objects that risk impeding a smooth delivery if they are not numerous. Room of choice delivery does not include unpacking of items unless it’s a major appliance. Customer must notify Prairie Hauler of any unsecured animals on site prior to our arrival. Prairie Hauler will offer floor protection that can be laid down to protect your home. Appropriate site conditions must exist to perform assemble. If you are unsure, please contact us to confirm. Prairie Hauler does not perform electrical, water or ventilation rough in’s. Customer must have existing rough in’s for electrical, water supply, drainage and ventilation. Gas ranges and dryers excluded are excluded from our list of services. Prairie Hauler will not under any circumstances touch breakers, water shut off valves or electrical panels. It is the responsibility of the home owner to ensure power and water are turned off/on for appliances being installed or tested/used. For the white glove appliance installation service (Fridges, Electric Ranges, Washers, Dryers), Prairie Hauler will only deliver, install and haul away a maximum of 1 of each appliance for a total of 4 appliances (plus 4 hauls away). No duplicates are permitted under this single fee. 50km is included with each basic price. This includes both pickup and delivery mileage from business origin to pick up location to delivery site. Mileage exceeding 50km’s is subject to a fuel surcharge at a rate of $per km.

Fine print: Wall mounts must be purchased separately and be on site prior to installation. A mount can be supplied if previously communicated. Prices vary. Wall mounts must be the appropriate mount designed to support the weight and size of the TV being mounted. Prairie Hauler will install mounts in nearly any room and over top of drywall, plywood, tile and into studs where possible. Prairie Hauler does not repair walls from previous mounts. Prairie Hauler will not install televisions close to open water sources like bathtubs or sinks. Prairie Hauler will not be liable for manufacturer defects or previous damage to the item. Prairie Hauler reserves the right to refuse installation if issues related to safety, accessibility, quality or completeness of parts exist or if there are code violations. 50km is included with each basic price. This includes both pickup and delivery mileage from business origin to pick up location to delivery site. Mileage exceeding 50km’s is subject to a fuel surcharge at a rate of per km.

Items must be packed and prepared for transport with all hardware secured with item. Prairie Hauler will not replace missing or broken hardware. Prairie Hauler is not responsible for manufacturer defects or prior damage to furniture. Prairie Hauler reserves the right to refuse assembly of items it deems unsafe to use or that are incomplete. Prairie Hauler may refuse items based on factors such as size, shape, accessibility and/or site conditions at origin or delivery. If an item is refused, under most circumstances you will not be charged a full or even partial service fee for that item, unless we have completed a pick up or delivery. Delivery & Assembly: Storage Buildings

Prairie Hauler will pick up your outdoor storage building and deliver it to site. 50km included. We assemble wood, metal and vinyl/resin sheds. Prairie Hauler will fully assemble your storage building. Prairie Hauler can complete base preparation if needed using limestone screening, drainage gravel and either a pressure treated wooden base or patio slabs. Prairie Hauler does not pour concrete slabs. Customer is responsible for ensuring site is accessible, power is available and all required bylaws and permits are being followed and are in place prior to delivery and assembly can commence.

Delivery & Installation: Fire Pits

Prairie Hauler will pick up, deliver and install your stone fire pit! 

We will perform base prep work, install all stones, glue down if preferred, install any hardware, level, haul away garbage and clean the area. 

The fine print: Must have access with wheelbarrow. We will not install on any decking material, balcony or inside a home. We will not modify the manufacturer design and will adhere to manufacturer installation instructions only. We will not install on a grade of more than 15 degrees.  Paver base, adhesive, gravel or any other needed supplies are not included. Site area must be accessible and ready for installation. Prairie Hauler will not remove existing fire pits, furniture, structures, or any other objects that may impede installation or access to the installation site. Prairie Hauler is not liable for damage caused to grass or landscaped areas being walk on to deliver or install your product. Prairie Hauler will not perform a fire test of your fire pit or advise you how to use your fire pit. Customer must ensure installation site and decision to install fire pit abides by all local bylaws, rules and regulations. Regular boxed wood burning fire pits are delivered and assembled at rates mentioned in our outdoor furniture section. 

Delivery & Installation: SOD

Prairie Hauler does SOD! We will pick up from our supplier, deliver and install SOD to pre-graded and prepped outdoor spaces. 50km included.

SOD: .39 cents per sq ft
Installation: .50 cents per sq ft
Extra carry (over 100ft): .05 cents surcharge per sq ft

The fine print: Site must be accessible by wheelbarrow. Site must have access to running water. Installation is weather dependent. We will provide a SOD care form following installation. If we do not feel ground or soil conditions are satisfactory, we may ask you to sign a waiver relieving prairie hauler of any liability arising from dead grass in the future. We also reserve the right to refuse installation, opting only to deliver SOD if there are issues with site accessibility, prep work, grading or soil condition. If SOD is brought to site, it cannot be refused for any reason other than substandard quality. 

Delivery & Carry in: Building Supplies

Prairie Hauler is ideal for carry in services of building materials such as flooring, kitchen cabinets, doors and windows, drywall, lumber, concrete, bathroom fixtures, etc. we will carry each piece directly into the room it’s needed. 

For full lifts or pallet loads of wood products, shingles, concrete, soil, mulch, stone, etc that are for curb side delivery, we recommend reaching out to a company that offers flat deck and moffett truck services.

A fuel surcharge equal to  will be applied for each additional km accrued during travel between origin, pickup and delivery destinations.

Custom made to order work benches

Prairie Hauler supplies and delivers custom work/shop benches! 

Our benches are built to order from a list of several standard designs with features that include shelving, peg board, slot wall and work surfaces. Built to the size of your choice and ranging in price from  to delivered. Built to last with framing lumber, 3/4” plywood and construction screws (no nailing). Your custom bench will be delivered directly to your room of choice (accessibility permitting).
